About WhiteCap (Holiday Edition)
      WhiteCap Holiday Edition is a special edition of SoundSpectrum's popular WhiteCap plug-in. WhiteCap is a real-time music visualization plug-in for media players and can also visualize auxiliary or "line-in" audio. WhiteCap features several hundred effects, a morphing slideshow, savable and scriptable effects, video file export capabilities, control over specific effects, and expandability. WhiteCap is designed to be visually engaging and extremely dynamic while allowing you to customize, control, and script it. WhiteCap is freeware and must be used in accordance with the license agreement.

  • Frequent questions are addressed in the FAQ and Troubleshooting sections.

  • To maximize frame rate:
    • Disable CPU energy-saving features (ex, CPU speed reduction)
    • Disable software audio filters (equalizers, sound filters, "DSPs")
    • Exit other applications

    Installation

    Windows Media Player
    1. Exit Windows Media Player and run the WhiteCap installer.
    2. Start Windows Media Player.
    3. Press the Now Playing tab (or enter any mode that displays the visualizer).
    4. If WhiteCap doesn't appear, ensure it's selected (Options -> Plug-ins -> Visualization).
